Studio Konkret was formed in 2020 by Linus, Andreas & Olle who then worked at the production company Lillasyster Produktion. Today we are located at Kocksgatan 50 and are six full-time employees. We are animators, illustrators, producers, art directors, compare and VFX artists under the same roof. Over the years we have received both nominations and awards at the Roygalan in Stockholm, Vega Awards in New York and NYX Video Awards in Los Angeles.
When a new Client comes to us to create an animated film, we take them through a careful and well-structured process to ensure their vision is realized in the best possible way.
How we work:
Meeting and workshop:
We always start by meeting our clients to get to know their organization, their goals and vision for the project. We hold a workshop or a longer meeting where we discuss the ideas, target audience and style of the animated film.
Fixed-price quote:
After the meeting, we create a detailed fixed-price quote that clearly describes what the project will entail and the costs associated with it.
Planning and screenwriting:
Some clients already have a ready-made script, while others have only a vague idea. Either way, we are happy to help. Throughout the scripting process, we work closely with the client to design a script that clearly communicates their message in an engaging way. We also plan the production phase, including a detailed timeline.
Animatic:
Before we move on to the animation itself, we create an animatic, a simple version of the movie with still images or simpler animations together with either music or a temporary voice-over.
Animation & Completion:
Now it's time to start the actual animation! Our team of skilled animators and illustrators work diligently to bring your vision to life in an iterative process where we continuously provide you with new updates.
Sound design:
We add sound, possibly voice-over and music to reinforce the film's message and create a coherent and professional experience for the viewer.
Delivery:
Finally, we deliver the finished film to the customer in the desired file format and resolution. We make sure that you are satisfied with the product and save the project files for at least one year (longer if necessary) so that we can quickly update according to your wishes.
